Which automatically alters the remote resolution to 1680x1050. I figured out when i was testing i also had a remote desktop session open with nomachine nx. When streaming i set my desktop resolution through the windows settings to 1680x1050, which leaves me with my rpi desktop in bars top and bottom like the OP had, but also black bars left and right. I havent been able to replicate the original working setting, even after reinstalling all the other tools.Įdit: on hindsight my problem was not exactly the same. After a reboot moonlight stopped working full screen. Nomachine, freerdp and vnc client were uninstalled. After settling for moonlight i decided to uninstall all the other remote desktop apps i tried.
At first, up until a few hours ago moonlight was working fine.
